PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a cell size or the range of access without increasing the cost by using a correction timing protocol incorporated with a shifted or offset search window and detecting the signals of a mobile telephone. SOLUTION: A base station starts transmission at the boundary Fo of the frame 72-0 of a timing schedule 70 and searches for the signals transmitted from the mobile telephone inside the shifted search window Wo between time Fo+q and the time Fo+q+p. The mobile telephone is set so as to start reception of base station signals and then start the signals at about X times of a frame time interval (f). Thus, the transmission of the time Fn from the base station results in the reception inside the shifted search window Wn of the signals transmitted from the mobile telephone. Thus, though the mobile telephone exceeds the bit limitation of an ASIC correlation device and is positioned on the outside of the access range, the base station receives the signals of the mobile telephone without needing the design change of the ASIC corrector requiring a high cost.
