PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a DC power distribution system for reducing a daytime peak power. SOLUTION: In a DC power distribution system, an AC power is converted to DC by a rectifier 2 via an AC switch 3, and a battery 6 is connected to a DC circuit for supplying the DC power to a DC load 1 via a DC switch 5. In a low-power-charge time zone the AC switch 3 and the DC switch 5 are turned on for charging the battery 6. Normally, the AC switch 3 is turned on, the AC power is converted to DC by the rectifier 2, a DC power is supplied to the DC load 1. In a power usage peak time zone, the AC switch 3 is turned off for supplying a DC power from the battery 6 to the DC load. Then, when the DC voltage according to the battery 6 decreases to a setting value or less, the AC switch 3 is turned on and the DC switch 5 is turned off. |
