摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel structure which makes it possible to obtain a reflection type LCD display having an aperture ratio which is made substantially large by including plural layers consisting of reflection front surface mirrors together with upper side mirrors having absorption rear surfaces. SOLUTION: This pixel structure has the first layer consisting of a reflective material for reflecting the light directed toward the cell structure in accordance with control signals, the second layer consisting of the reflective material disposed on the first layer and a means for sending the control signals to the first and second reflection layers within the cell structure in order to control the reflection quantity at the first and second reflection layers. Further, the structure has the first and second reflection layers consisting of the reflective material. As a result, the reflection type LCD display having the aperture ratio which is made substantially larger may be obtained. The M1 layer, M2 layer, etc., of, for example, the reflection gap pixel cell 100 are the same as those of the absorption cell. However, the AR hierarchy existing between the M1 layer and the M2 layer is formed of the aluminum reflective material together with the titanium barrier hierarchy lying below the same.
