PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a latching type solenoid having a function changing and adjusting the attractive force of a plunger. SOLUTION: In a part constituted of a movable yoke 7, a main yoke 2, a permanent magnet 3 and a magnet yoke 4, a screw is formed on the outer peripheral part of the movable yoke 7, and a screw hole is formed in the section of the main yoke 2. The movable yoke 7 is screwed in the section of the main yoke 2. By rotating the movable yoke 7, the gap length between the movable yoke 7 and the permanent magnet 3 is changed. As a result, the attractive force of a plunger 1 is changed and adjusted.
