PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable connector with easy assembly, with a compact body to be accommodated in a hinge part of a small device such as a cellular phone, and with a rare disconnect in wire for no occurrence of excessive bending or tension in a lead wire even if the connector rotates about the rotating axis along the inserted direction of a contact hardware associated with the rotation of the hinge part. SOLUTION: In this connector, the tip end of a contact hardware 3 inserted and fit into a body 2 is pressed from side and connected electrically to a lead wire 4 inserted into the body 2 in the direction different from the inserted direction of the contact hardware 3. The part of the lead wire 4 which is not inserted into the body 2 bends at the insert inlet of the body 1 in the inserted direction of the contact hardware 3. One part of the lead wire 4 bent is held by a lead wire holding part 2d disposed in the body 2.
