PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a thin type composition by composing this device in one body with a 2nd cabinet to be movable, providing this device with a holder of which an insertion port is opened in the state that the 2nd cabinet is shifted to a 2nd position with respect to a 1st cabinet, and composing a coupling part of the 1st and 2nd cabinets of a linkage mechanism arranged on the both sides of the insertion port of the holder. SOLUTION: On an MD player, a movable cabinet 1 provided with a holder is shifted upward from an upper face opening part 10 of a main cabinet 2 by a projected amount (d) only at the time of disengaging a cartridge 7. Also, in an unloaded state and a loading completed state of the cartridge other than at the time of attaching/detaching, i.e., inserting/taking out the cartridge 7, the movable cabinet 1 moves in the inside of the main cabinet 2 and is into a sunk-in state. In this state, a disk built in the cartridge 7 is coupled with a disk rotation driving mechanism on the main cabinet side and is driven to rotate and an optical pickup accesses to the disk.
