PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an external apparatus accessible to an ROM disc in a memory, without deteriorating the performance of the external apparatus when the content of the ROM disc is to be updated in a pseudo manner. SOLUTION: A memory 6 for storing updated data is provided in a storage 1. A CPU 5 in the storage 1 is made to judge whether the updated data exist in the updated data storing memory 6 or on an ROM disc 2, thereby preventing an external apparatus 7 from deteriorating its performance.
