PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring device capable of displaying reporting data at the pertinent prescribed base in charge of maintenance in a short time after a control center receives the reporting data. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a data processing part 7 for collating the reporting data received in the control center 2 with the entire area fixed data and detecting a fluctuation portion as fluctuation data, a fluctuation data storage part 10 for storing the fluctuation data and a selective transmission part 14 for selectively transmitting only the fluctuation data to a prescribed business office corresponding to terminal equipment which transmits the reporting data. Business office terminal equipment 3a for controlling an area Z1 is provided with a fixed-data-for-respective-areas storage part 17 for storing fixed data for the respective areas relating to terminal equipment 1a-1n for the respective areas, a data control part 15 for processing the fluctuation data transmitted from the control center 2 by using the fixed data for the respective areas, and an information display part 16 for displaying data processed in the data control part 15. The business office terminal equipment 3q or the like for controlling the other area Zm is similarly constituted as well.
