PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mounting structure for the lens assembly of a camera capable of attaching a lens to a camera main body through single operation. SOLUTION: As for the mounting structure; the base 17 of a lens barrel unit 11 is inserted and pushed into the guide parts 4 and 5 of a shoe member 2, so that a lens barrel 12 is moved forward against a spring member 14 and the base end face part 12c of the lens barrel 12 runs up onto the bearing surface part 3 of the shoe member 2. In such a state, the unit 11 is pushed in so as to bring a unit side electric contact 19 into contact with a shoe member side electric contact 9, and the base end face part 12c of the lens barrel 12 is aligned with a camera mounting hole part 7, then the base part 12a of the lens barrel 12 is inserted in the hole part 7 by the urging force of the spring member 14, so that the unit 11 is attached to the shoe member 2.
