PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic marker capable of easily and surely fixing a magnetic marker vertically to a road surface. SOLUTION: This magnetic marker is provided with a case 2 provided with a main body part 3 mounted to a fixing hole 61 opened on a road surface and provided with a housing chamber 31 inside and a flange-like umbrella part 4 formed integrally with the main body part 3 for covering the road surface around the opening of the fixing hole 61 and a magnet 5 housed and held in the housing chamber 31 and provided with magnetic poles on upper and lower ends. The magnetic marker is fixed to the fixing hole in the state of bringing the umbrella part of the case into contact with the road surface around the fixing hole. Thus, the direction of connecting the magnetic poles of the magnetic marker is fixed and maintained vertically to the road surface at all times. |
