LAYER CONVERTING METHOD FOR GRAPHIC DATA AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDED WITH LAYER CONVERTING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a decrease in the quality of layer management when the storage layers of respective graphic data used for a drawing are changed accompanying a shift from one operation process to a next operation process. SOLUTION: Several kinds of layer conversion table wherein which layer the graphic data stored in respective layers before an operation process shift are moved after the operation process shift are generated in advance (steps S4 to S6). Then when the layers where the respective graphic data of the drawing are stored are changed as one operation process is shifted to the next operation process, a layer conversion table matching a purpose is selected out of the layer conversion tables (step S9) and according to the contents of the selected layer conversion table, the layers of the respective graphic data are converted together at a time (step S10).
