PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability and to eliminate the need for a recording medium having a room for a video recording time by providing a video recording reservation function for a control means and controlling an information recorder, that is provided for the video information terminal and records image and audio data by the control means. SOLUTION: Reservation for video recording of a program is set to a video recording reservation section 6 by the use of a reservation setting terminal 8 in the setting of the video recording reservation by a control section 5. When the reservation time is in duplicate with a time by other reservation setting, having already been set by the video recording reservation section 6, it is displayed on a screen. When the video recording available time obtained from a video recording remaining quantity detection means 14 is less, it is displayed on the screen. An extension shift propriety setting section 7 sets propriety of shifting video recording. When the possibility of a shift is set, if the time for other reservation setting having already been set is in duplicate with this setting, it is displayed on the screen. When the possibility of extension is set, if there is duplicate in a time of the extension with the time of other reservation setting having already been set, it is displayed on the screen. If the video recording available time is less than the total time which is the sum of the video recording time and its extension time, it is displayed on the screen.
