PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device which can keep a good operation state as an electrooptical device by driving the device in an initial good state even if characteristics of TFT and the like constituting a drive circuit are varied and an electrooptical device provided with it. SOLUTION: This device is a drive control device controlling a data line driving circuit driving pixels in a liquid crystal device S. In this case, the device is provided with a comparing circuit 9 comparing an initial drive state being a drive state at a first point of time with a drive state at a subsequent second point of time and outputting a control signal Sc indicating its difference, and a timing generator 2 controlling a data line drive circuit 101 and driving liquid crystal so as to restore to an initial drive state based on the outputted control signal Sc.
