<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a hibernation area as a regular disk area when a hibernation function is not required in an information processor. SOLUTION: In the switching method, a hibernation setting step S6 detects that hibernation setting is changed to ON in a system setting change routine step S4. In a step S9, attribute information of the hibernation area is rewritten and the area is initialized. That hibernation setting is changed to OFF in the step S4 is detected by the hibernation setting step S6. In a step S7, attribute information of the area is returned to the hibernation area attribute. In a step S8, the area is initialized. Thus, the hibernation area can be used as a regular disk area when the system cannot execute hibernation setting.</p> |
