PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce troublesome operation at the time of detailed statement generation and to easily generate a detailed statement of good quality by applying a rule held at a code appending rule holding part and appending a code to a character string extracted by a character string extraction part and outputting a document including the character string given the code. SOLUTION: A document storage part 11 stores the detailed statement. A character string extracting rule holding part 12 holds a rule for extracting a character string (invention constituent element) to which a code is appended. The character string extraction part 13 extracts invention constituent elements by applying the rule held at the character string extracting rule holding part 12 to the detailed statement held at the document storage part 11. A code rule holding part 14 holds the rule for appending the code. A code appending part 15 appends the code to the invention constituent elements extracted by the character string extraction part 13 by applying the rule held at the code rule holding part 14. A document output part 16 outputs the document including the invention constituent elements given the code by the code appending part 15.
