The table lamp has the shade (1) and upright support (2) molded in plastic as a single unit. The support tapers outward as it rises, with its top (12) forming the top opening of the lamp. The shade is formed by a skirt extending downward and outward from the top opening. The lower part of the upright fits over the lamp base, and flexible arms (8,9) inside the upright accept the bulb holder.
