PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance separation capability for a mixed sample in a liquid chromatopgraph and a mass spectrometer, by allowing a mobile phase solvent containing a slightly volatile salt to be used. SOLUTION: After a sample separated by a liquid chromatograph 14 is atomized in an electrostatic atomizing part 15, it is heated to be vaporized in a vaporizing part 5, a resultant gaseous sample molecule is ionized by proton addition reaction or the like due to chemical reaction in an ionization part 6 provided with a corona discharge part, and it is introduced into a high vacuum part 12 from ion introducing pores 9a, 9b to be analyzed in a mass spectrometric analysis part 13. A salt contained in a solution is converted into a gaseous ion thereby, its path is bent by electric fields in the vicinity of the ion introducing pores 9a, 9b, and the pores 9a, 9b are prevented from being blocked by deposit of a slightly volatile salt.
