PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the secondary combustion efficiency of the unburned gas inside a gas mixing chamber in a wastes treatment furnace such as a refuse incineration furnace. SOLUTION: An intermediate ceiling 6 is provided inside a combustion chamber 1 so that a sub gas ducting 7 and a main gas ducting 8 are formed in a wastes input opening 2 side of the combustion chamber 1 and an incineration ash exhaust opening 4 side, respectively, by the intermediate ceiling 6. A primary combustion exhaust gas A containing a large quantity of unburned gas passing in the sub gas ducting 7 and a primary combustion exhaust gas B containing a large quantity of oxygen passing in the main gas ducting 8 are mixed inside a gas mixing chamber 3 which is formed between the intermediate ceiling 6 and a boiler and in which a reinforcing wall 9 is vertically constructed in the center part in its width direction. Thus, in the wastes treatment furnace in which the unburned gas in the primary combustion exhaustion gas A is secondarily burned, a partition wall 10 is provided for each of side walls facing each other in the gas input side of the sub gas ducting 7 to overhang in the reinforcing wall 9 side.
