PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn on such equipment as a receiver without any remote control operation and to prevent the electric equipment from being operated when a power failure occurs and power recovers again when a main power switch is turned off in standby state and then is turned on again. SOLUTION: In electric equipment with a main power switch 14-1 and a standby switch 7, a main power switch 14-1 for turning on and off a commercial power supply and a second switch 14-1 with the same polarity being linked to it are provided. Then, a microcomputer 8A detects and stores the fact that the second switch 14-2 is turned off while an output voltage Vcc of a standby power supply circuit 10 for microcomputer rises slowly with a certain time constant when the main power switch 14-1 is turned off, thus always operating the electric equipment when the main power switch 14-1 is turned on even if the electric equipment turns off the main power switch 14-1 in either operation or standby state. Also, when power recovers from failure, the equipment can be automatically set to standby state. |
