PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail assembly work and to reduce a size by integrally forming plural members constituting an optical switch body from one blank. SOLUTION: When a power source is supplied to a power source terminal, magnetic force is generated in an electromagnet 7 to attract magnetic members 6 built into barrels 3a and 3b to one side. When optical fibers 5a and 5b are attracted toward the left, the barrels 3a and 3b move to prescribed positions. The end faces of the optical fibers 5a and 5b arranged in contact with the barrels 3a and 3b move by accompanying the movement, causing the optical fiber 5b to part from the optical fiber 5c and aligning the end of the optical fiber 5a to the end of the optical fiber 5c. As a result, the optical fiber 5c is connected to the optical path on the optical fiber 5a side. At this time, the end of the optical fiber 5c is housed in a V-groove 4a formed at the barrel 3a and the stable state is maintained. When the power source supply is stopped, the optical fibers 5a and 5b are returned to the intermediate positions by the elastic force of beams 2a, 2b. |
