PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate flammable gas generated in a reactor containment efficiently in long term without leaking out of the reactor containment. SOLUTION: Recombiner reaction surface which catalyst 7 made in pellet type or catalyst 7 is spread on a cartridge plate surface in a catalyst type recombiner 8 using catalyst promoting the recombining of hydrogen gas and oxygen gas provided in a reactor containment 1 is heated to ca. 184 deg.C or more as the temperature capable of separating iodine with a heater capable of converting electric energy from power source 11 to heat for separating iodine from the catalyst. By this, performance degradation of catalyst can be prevented.
