<p>The invention relates to a filter fabric, which on its lower surface comprises threads 8 running in essentially the same direction, which are thicker than other threads in the fabric, channels 9 essentially running in the same direction being formed between the said threads, in which channels filtered liquid that has flowed through the said fabric can flow in the direction of the surface of a filtering element 10 between the filtering part of the fabric and the surface of the element.
