PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element assembly which can obtain a wide data transmitting area, can be reduced in occupying space, and can reduce the number of processes for attaching work. SOLUTION: The occupying space of an optical element assembly 10 and the number of processes in the attaching work of the assembly 10 to information equipment are reduced by closely arranging LED elements 12a-12c, a light receiving circuit element 16, and a transmitting circuit element 17 to each other by integrally covering the elements 12a-12c, 16, and 17 with a molded layer 13. In addition, since the LED elements 12a-12c are arranged so that their optical axes Ca-Cc may intersect each other at angles θ1 and θ2 and radiating areas Ra-Rc of the elements 12a-12c may be made to intersect each other, a continuous wide radiating area R10 in which data can be transmitted can be formed. |
