PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized high frequency relay capable of reducing a separation loss between open contact terminals. SOLUTION: This high frequency relay has a base 2 having a fixed contact 1, a movable member 5 having a movable contact 3 to bridge the fixed contact when the contact is closed and to electromagnetically shield between the fixed contacts when the contact is opened and an earth terminal part 4 to be connected to an earth potential when the contact is opened, and a driving means to drive the movable member. In addition, it has a lower ground plate 13 with the earth potential making close contact with the lower surface of the base, the lower ground plate 13 has shielding walls 14a, 14b cut and raised from the ground plate 13 at designated positions on a leak pass of a high frequency signal in the base, and the shielding walls are inserted in grooves provided on the base.
