PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which efficiently copes with the change of a line network to which it is connected and used even if the communication terminal consists of a main body part having a communication operating part and a call connecting part. SOLUTION: This communication terminal 1000 comprises a main body part 1001 having a communication operating part 1010 which manages control of the entire device and also performs a communication operation and a call connecting part 1013 which is connected to a line network 1019 and also manages a call connection function. Here the terminal has command status interfacing means (C/Si/f) 1011 and 1018 which exchange a command and a status between the main body part 1001 and the call connecting part 1013 and a communication signal interfacing means (communication signal i/f) 1012 which exchanges a signal to be communicated.
