PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent applying DC voltage to liquid crystal and to suppress after image phenomenon and the like. SOLUTION: This device is a driving circuit for a display device in which video signals of different interlace drive are inputted to each pixel arranged in a matrix state depending on an odd field or an even field. And this device has means(8, 9), 3. 4 replacing a signal of an odd field with a signal of an even field of a regular video signal, means 1, 7, (10)outputting alternately a replaced video signal and a regular video signal with a longer period than one field, and a means reversing polarity of either video signal of the replaced video signal or the regular video signal, a means reversing polarity of a video signal with a longer period than one field, and a means delaying the timing of reversing polarity of a video signal by M fields (M is odd natural number) and inserting a dummy signal into the interval.
