PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the vaporization of liquid crystals and the temp. fall of junctures at the time of filling the liquid crystals into a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: A heating block 20 provided with a liquid crystal reserving recessed part 21 is mounted in a thermally insulating state to a cooling block 10 via an O-ring 30. This heating block 20 is heated at the time of liquid contact of the liquid crystal panel 40 to raise the temp. of the liquid crystal and to improve the temp. distribution of the liquid crystal panel 40 at the time of liquid contact. Shutters 24 are closed in a manner as to hold the liquid crystal panel 40 at the time of liquid contact, by which the liquid reserving recessed part is end-sealed and the vaporization of the liquid crystals is prevented.
