PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the decrease of overcorrect drooping point at a low temperature. SOLUTION: This switching power supply compensates the temperature characteristic of a capacitor 21 connected between the base and emitter of a transistor Q2 at a low temperature, by connecting a thermistor 1 having a negative temperature characteristic for the replacement of a resistor. The thermistor has the negative temperature characteristic and resistance increases as temperature decreases. Thus, it is possible to suppress the decrease in the time constant of the equivalent series resistance of the capacitor 21, a diode 20 and the thermistor 1. Compared with the prior art, the level rises at a lower temperature in the temperature characteristic of the current drooping point.
