<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner having electrostatic charge characteristics almost independent of use environment and also having good electrophotographic characteristics typified by high transfer efficiency and fixability. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a bonding resin and a colorant. The bonding resin contains, on the basis of the weight of the bonding resin, 1-100 wt.% acrylic or methacrylic resin obtd. by polymerizing a monomer mixture of at least acrylic esters or methacrylic esters. At least one of the acrylic esters or methacrylic esters has a cyclic structure. The acrylic or methacrylic resin contains <=10 wt.% component having a mol.wt. of <=3,000 (expressed in terms of polystyrene) measured by GPC.</p> |
