PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical relay circuit which can correct waveform and also reduce time jitter. SOLUTION: This optical relay circuit is provided with an optical branching filter 13 to separate an input optical pulse 12 into at least two optical pulses a clock signal generating means 14 to obtain the clock signal 12a of the input optical pulse 12 from one optical pulse separated by the optical branching filter 13, and a modulator 15 which modulates the clock signal 12a in intensity through the clock signal generating means 14 by using the other optical pulse 12b obtained from the optical branching filter 13. A mode synchronizing semiconductor laser is used as the clock signal generating means 14, to receive the injection of either of the optical pulses. |
