PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically elevate and lower a disk clamper by suppressing the lowering of the disk clamper by magnetic force of a main magnetic motor when a spindle motor is elevated, and elevating the disk clamper by magnetic force between a magnetic force member of the disk chamber, an annular magnetic force member and an outer case of an optical disk drive when the main shaft motor is lowered. SOLUTION: When a spindle motor 1 is elevated, magnetic force of the spindle motor 1 attracts a magnetic force member 2 on a disk clamper 3 being lowered, pressurizes and convers an optical disk 4. Moreover, it is possible to fix the disk clamper 3 and automatically align it with the axial center by utilizing the magnetic force member 2, an annular magnetic force member 7 of a holding plate 5 or utilizing the interaction of magnetic force with an projecting end provided on an outer case 6 of an optical disk drive. When the spindle motor 1 is lowered, the disk clamper 3 is elevated up to the upper part of the holding plate 5 by magnetic force between the magnetic force member 2, the annular magnetic force member 7 of the holding plate 5 and the outer case 6 of the optical disk driver.
