PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic metronome easily understood of tempo and rhythm information visually. SOLUTION: A luminous diode group 111 is constituted of 13 luminous diodes LED0 to LED12 arranged in a row. The positions of lighting luminous diodes are moved for the first LED0 to the twelfth LED11 and when the lighting of first rhythm terminates and the twelfth LED11 turns off, the first LED12 for the next rhythm starts lighting and the position of lighting luminous diode moves to the twelfth LED1. Here, the time length from the start of lighting of the first LED to the start of lighting of the twelfth LED becomes the length of one rhythm. Therefore, one rhythm can be grasped by the time necessary for the movement of lighting position from the luminous diodes LED0 to LED11 and the timing to the next rhythm can be grasped by the time necessary for moving back to the lighting position from the luminous diodes LED12 to LED1.
