PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method for a resin pipe of gas piping, etc., to reliably close a damage spot even when it shapes complicatedly and perform closing even when gas pressure in piping is comparatively high. SOLUTION: This repairing method for a resin pipe is that a closing plug 10 made of resin is brought into contact with the damaged part 71 of a resin pipe 70 as it is rotated and the two members are fused together by a friction heat generated between a resin pipe and the closing plug. The closing tool 20 comprises a head 21 to mount the closing plug 10, a motor 23 to rotationally drive a head; a casing 25 to rotatably support a head, and a handle 29 for the casing.
