PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of delicately controlling exposure by flash photographing. SOLUTION: A multi-point ranging element having plural ranging areas and a multi-division light control element having plural light control areas are provided in an autofocusing camera so that a part of the light control area corresponds to a photometric area. An object and a background are specified by the ranging information obtained by the output of the multi-point ranging element, and the reference value of the light emission end of radiated light and the contribution ratio of each light control area for the sum total of received light quantity are set in accordance with the distribution state of the object and the background, so that control for the light control of the flash photographing is executed. |
