<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner which is easily fixed at low temperature even in a medium- to high-speed machine using a heat roll fixer or in a medium- to low-speed machine using a pressure and heat fixing system in which the toner is heated with a fixed heater through a heat resistant film. SOLUTION: The toner contains a bonding resin, a colorant, a wax, an organometallic compd. and a saccharide compd. The saccharide compd. is cyclodextrin. The bonding resin contains a hybrid resin component having vinyl polymer units and polyester units, the acid value of the bonding resin is 5-40 mgKOH/g and the resin component of the toner contains 15-50 wt.% THF- insoluble component. The organometallic compd. is a complex or salt having zirconium as the metallic element and an arom. hydroxycarboxylic acid or the like as the ligands. The mol.wt. of the wax has the main peak in the range of 300-5,000 and the ratio of the weight overage mol.wt. to the number average mol.wt. of the wax is 1.2-15.</p> |
