<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general bulb displacement mechanism of a beam switching device in a simple structure, in a vehicular headlamp constituted so that beam switching between a low beam and a high beam is performed by relatively displacing a light source bulb in relation to a reflector. SOLUTION: This vehicular headlamp is constituted to have a bulb displacement mechanism 40 for relatively displacing a light source bulb 18 to a reflector 20 in the light axis Ax direction, as a beam switching device 36. Beam switching between a low beam and a high beam is performed by driving the bulb displacement mechanism 40 to relatively displace the light source bulb 18 by a given distance and by driving an actor 28 of leveling device 26 to tilt the reflector 20 by a given angle. Thus, relative displacement motion of the light source bulb by the bulb displacement mechanism is simpler than that when the beam switching is performed only by driving of the bulb displacement mechanism as the prior art.</p> |
