PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory module, where contact terminals are disposed not only in the longitudinal direction of a printed wiring board but also in the short side direction and a socket for inserting the memory module. SOLUTION: For this memory module, plural semiconductor memory elements are mounted on a printed wiring board 11. In this case, it is provided with plural longitudinal direction contact terminals 15 disposed in the longitudinal direction of the printed wiring board 11 for connecting a computer main substrate and the memory module and plural short side direction contact terminals 16a disposed in the short side direction of the printed wiring board 11 for connecting the computer main substrate with the memory module. |
