PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare harmonized Conduit cross-sectional pattern and perpetual pattern by performing the defining processing or the like of a fiber diving angle at the time of cutting a three-dimensional(3D) virtual tree model on a virtual cutting plane. SOLUTION: A vector field generating means 10 generates a 3D vector field expressing the grain of natural wood and a fiber diving angle operating means 20 finds and defines the fiber diving angle based on the orientation of the vector field at respective points on the cutting plane of the 3D vector field from a prescribed image forming plane. A direction vector operating means 30 converts the fiber diving angles defined at the respective points on the image forming plane to respective direction vectors based on a prescribed conversion expression. A pattern generating means 40 had prescribed width on a preparation image, defines perpetual lines arranged along with a direction vector and generates a binary image pattern composed of perpetual lines. A conduit cross- sectional pattern preparing means 21 prepares the conduit cross-sectional pattern to appear on the cutting plane when the 3D vector field is cut.
