PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain an output image of high quality without causing a difference in an output image by a combination of processing units that transfer image data to each other in an image forming processing system where the plural image processing units are mutually connected communicably. SOLUTION: After reading an image of an original, a copying machine 110B reads characteristic value data (+Bsb) of a read section 111 of its own machine from a characteristic value data storage device in a control section 114, transmits the characteristic value data to a copying machine 110D and thereafter, transmits image data of the original to a copying machine 110A. Upon the receipt of the characteristic value data from the copying machine 110B, the copying machine 110A reads the characteristic value data (+Bka) of a write section 113 of its own machine from a storage section in the control section 114 and uses the characteristic value data (+Bsb) of the copying machine 110B in place of the characteristic value data (+Bsa) of the read section 111 of its own machine to calculate a correction coefficient Xab and activates the write section 113 to print and output image data sent from the copying machine 110B while applying correction processing of multipling them by the Xab to the image data.
