PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ignitionability and the combustion performance by altering the quantity of air that is sucked at the time of ignition from at the time of catalyst combustion. SOLUTION: A combustion part 11 is composed of a combustion catalyst 13, a combustion chamber 14, a gas exhaust nozzle 15, an air suck ejector 16, an ignition device 17, and an air suck opening 18. A fuel part 12 is composed of an opening/closing valve 19 controlling the supply of fuel and a fuel tank 20. The air suck opening 18 is composed of an ignition time air suck opening 21 and a steady time air suck opening 22. An opening/closing shutter 23 is provided at the steady time air suck opening 22. The opening area of the ignition time air suck opening 21 is smaller than the opening area of the steady time air suck opening 22 so that air is introduced only from the ignition time air suck opening 21 at the time of ignition and that air is introduced from the steady time air suck opening 21 also at the time of combustion. Thus, the quantity of the sucked air is altered at the time of ignition from at the time of combustion so as to improve the ignitionability and the combustion performance.
|
