PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality liquid crystal display device which forms a uniform cell gap without flawing a liquid crystal panel and eliminating the variation in a coating state of an end-sealing material. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel 1 before end sealing of the injection port of liquid crystals by filling the liquid crystals therein is housed into a pressurized chamber 2 in such a manner that the injection port 1a of the liquid crystal panel 1 is exposed outside. The end-sealing material 4 is applied to the injection port 1a of the liquid crystal panel 1 in the state of pressurizing the pressurized chamber 2. The pressurization in the pressurized chamber 2 is released or decompressed after the coating of the end-sealing material 4, by which the intrusion amt. of the end-sealing material 4 into the injection port 1a is controlled and the end-sealing material 4 is cured.
