PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a selective call system capable of confirming the call reception from a called receiver. SOLUTION: The selective call system can confirm the call reception from a called receiver by adding a system consisting of an incoming call confirming receiver 209, a call originating terminal number comparator 210 and a call originating terminal number data base 211 to an existing selective call system such as PHS(personal handy phone system) and combining these systems.
