PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary actuator whose cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A bobbin 9, on which a coil 10 is wound, has an inserting hole 9a. First and second plates 7, 8 constituting a stator 3 are formed in the same shape, and mounting pieces 7c, 8c inserted into the inserting hole 9a of the bobbin 9 can be extended and formed from both plates 7, 8. The mounting piece 7c of the first plate 7 is inserted from one end side of the inserting hole 9a of the bobbin 9, while the mounting piece 8c of the second plate 8 is put in from the other end side of the inserting hole 9a and the bobbin 9 is supported.
