PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device constituted so that stable image quality can be maintained without causing the turbulence of an unfixed toner image on a paper by controlling a motor so that a working speed is more increased than that of a transfer time after it is detected that the trailing edge of the paper gets out of a transfer position. SOLUTION: When it is detected that the trailing edge 13e of the paper 13 along in a carrying direction gets out of the final transfer position 43, a fixing roller 41 is driven to be rotated by the motor M. Then, the motor M is controlled so that the working speed of the roller 41 is more increased than that of the transfer time after it is detected that the trailing edge 13e of the paper 13 gets out of the position 43. Thus, a loop 44 formed on the paper 13 between the position 43 and the roller 41 is eliminated until the edge 13e of the paper 13 is separated from a belt 12 after it gets out of the position 43. Therefore, even when a high-speed machine is used, the vibration of the edge 13e of the paper 13 caused when it is separated from the belt 12 can be suppressed. |
