PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic apparatus for a motor, by which the breakage of a rotor bar at the motor can be diagnosed irrespective of the skilled degree of an operator, and which can prevent a difference in a diagnosed result by every operator. SOLUTION: A clamp meter 3 which detects the primary current of a motor 1 is provided, An A/D converter 4 which A/D-converts the output of the clamp meter 3 is provided. A notebook-type personal computer 5 which acquires waveform data to be outputted from the A/D converter 4 so as to be stored in a memory, which calculates the individual amplitude of the waveform data, which computes data on the calculated amplitude, and which diagnoses the breakage of a motor bar at the motor 1, is provided, As a result, when the breakage is generated in the rotor bar at the motor, a counterelectromotive force is not generated in the part of the breakage, and a difference is generated in an amplitude contained in current waveform data which is outputted from the motor 1. As a result, the operating state of the motor 1 can be judged automatically by the notebook-type personal computer 5 on the basis of the difference in the amplitude. |
