<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device capable of eliminating the necessity of image processing similar to the one performed by a presentation control unit provided in a DVD player in a monitor side when data are converted into an encoded form matching the decoding function of the monitor side, and also eliminating the necessity of complex control such as navigation control or the like from the monitor side. SOLUTION: An encoding means 115 is provided to convert a digital signal into an MPEG transport stream or the like after the extraction of presentation data, and this is sent out from a digital interface means 17 or the like. Thus, in a monitor side such as a satellite broadcast tuner, a TV set, a personal computer or the like, the necessity of a presentation control unit provided in a DVD is eliminated and simultaneously, the necessity of complex control such as navigation control or the like from the monitor side is eliminated.</p> |
