PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate preventive maintenance information of an optical field bus system to be notifiable and to improve reliability and safety. SOLUTION: In this notification method, an operator station (HCI) 2 is connected through a transmission line to a controller 1 for controlling optical field equipment 4 through an optical field bus. When information for preventive maintenance gathered in the controller 1 exceeds normal range, it is notified to the HCI 2 as a light fault first and time monitoring is started. When a light fault state continues even after a fixed time has elapsed, abnormality level is successively changed from a medium fault to a important fault and it is notified to the HCI 2. |
