PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile video-conferencing device which has high handleability. SOLUTION: A specific images is stored in a memory 509 in advance. An image from an image input device 501 such as a camera, and the image from the memory 509 are switched by an image switch 508. An image switch control part 507, after establishing a communication with a communication part 504, controls the image switch 508 in such a way that the image of the memory 509 is selected first. The image is sent from the communicatioin part 504 to the opposite side. The opposite side is able to acknowledge an in-preparation state on viewing the image. Then the image switch 508 is so controlled as to switch the source to the image input part 501, in response to a user's indication from the input part 502 or a certain time later. Thus in the preparatory stage, the camera arranged in a narrow space can be prevented from photographing and sending an image that the opposite side is unable to understand. |
