PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable performing various functions by incorporating plural control information into an input control signal to decrease the number of input terminals and wirings in a display drive device. SOLUTION: An input control signal F outputted to a signal driver 3 from a LCD controller 4 includes plural control information, a control information decoder 32 in the signal driver 3 decodes the control information from the input control signal, outputs control signals A-D corresponding to each control information to a signal line driving circuit 31, and controls the device so that various functions can be performed.
