PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unwanted radiation from a plasma display panel by building in a switching circuit which is a semiconductor module used for driving a plasma display panel and applies an AC voltage to a discharge maintaining electrode, and arranging a terminal for sending/receiving a current returning from a plasma display. SOLUTION: Dedicated return wiring 303 is arranged for making the discharge maintaining current in a plasma display device to flow through all the discharge maintaining circuits via the dedicated wiring. Both ends of the dedicated return wiring 303 are connected with an X-side semiconductor module 301 with a return terminal and Y-side semiconductor module 302 with a return terminal, respectively. The return terminal of the X-side semiconductor module 301 with return terminal is also connected with a minus terminal of an X-side capacitor 205. Moreover, the return terminal of the Y-side semiconductor module 302 with return terminal is also connected with a minus terminal of the Y-side capacitor 206 which is a power source for maintaining the discharge.
